MY PERSONAL STORY...Karen(webmaster)
Back in 1994, I was diagnosed with Carpal
Tunnel Syndrome in both arms, and "normal wear-and-tear Arthritis". Well, I knew there was nothing normal about what I was
going through. So, I borrowed a Merck medical book, and read everything to do with Arthritis. I came across Fibromyalgia,
and BINGO, this sounded just like me. So then, I took my findings to my Doctor. I told him to either rule it out, or confirm
it and let's figure out what to do. So luckily, he believed me, and the testing started. As usual, all lab tests came back
"normal". But,checking me over confirmed it. I have had different symptoms years before, but just contributed them to an auto
accident I was in when I was 18 yrs. old.

I am now 43 years old, the Co-leader of the support group I proudly belong to, Research
person for our group, and the Webmaster(Creator) of this website, I will admit that I am "very proud of". I have met so many
new wonderful friends from all over the world, and hope that I have been able to help some of them find the info and help
that they needed.
